Security isn't a one-time investment—it depends on ongoing maintenance and expert support.

How are product updates handled?

After purchasing the product licence, you regularly receive software updates for our products within the scope of a valid maintenance contract. We support you with upgrading your systems. It is best to coordinate with us on how your operations can best benefit from new versions.

Is the number of support requests limited?
For operational problems related to our products, we always help. Promised! Requests related to the administration of the PKI or HSM are limited to a fixed number of tickets per year. If you have a larger set of topics to work through, we will be happy to make a separate proposal for project support.
What happens after an operating system update?
Normally this is not a problem. However, it may happen that a library used by OpenXPKI has been changed in your Linux distribution. To identify such dependencies in advance, please talk to us before planned changes to the PKI runtime environment.
